Positive COVID Case

Williams Valley Families,

Today, October 20, 2021, the district office was notified of a confirmed positive COVID case impacting the elementary school. PA Department of Health (DOH) was contacted, contact tracing occurred, and no one needed to quarantine due to the wearing of facial coverings.

Today, 10/18/2021 the district office was notified of two confirmed positive COVID cases impacting the junior/senior high school. PA Department of Health (DOH) was contacted, contact tracing occurred, and no one needed to quarantine due to the wearing of facial coverings.

Today, the district office was notified a confirmed positive COVID case impacting the junior/senior high school.  PA Department of Health (DOH) was contacted and contact tracing occurred.  This resulted in the quarantine of 2 students/staff members.

October 5, 2021, the district office was notified of a confirmed positive COVID case impacting the elementary school.

September, 23, 2021, the district office was notified of a confirmed positive COVID case impacting the junior/senior high school. PA Department of Health (DOH) was contacted and contact tracing occurred. This resulted in the quarantine of 3 junior/senior high school students/staff members.

9/3/2021 the district office was notified of two confirmed positive COVID cases impacting elementary students and the junior senior high school.  PA Department of Health (DOH) was contacted, contact tracing occurred, and those who needed to quarantine were notified.  This resulted in the quarantine of a total of 26 junior/senior high school students and 4 other elementary students and staff.

8/30/2021 the district office was notified of a confirmed positive COVID case impacting the elementary and high school. PA Department of Health (DOH) was contacted, contact tracing occurred, and those who needed to quarantine were notified. This outside event resulted in the quarantine of 37 students in all.

2021-2022 School Calendar Revision

Williams Valley Families,
At the August 26 Williams Valley School District Board of Directors’ meeting, the 2021-2022 school calendar was revised as follows:

September 17, 2021 is a regular school day.
September 24, 2021 is now an Act 80/In-Service day for teachers only.
