🎄 WAKE UP WILLIAMS VALLEY 🎄

🤶🏻Friday, December 5, 2025 🎅🏻

 

🥰  The National Honor Society in conjunction with the Elementary Student Council and the Williams Valley Ministerium will once again be conducting the annual food drive to support the Christmas Sharing Food Baskets for families in the Williams Valley School District. The food drive will begin on Wednesday, December 3rd and continue to December 19th. Students and staff members are asked to donate items such as canned vegetables or fruit, stuffing mix, gravy or gravy mix, instant mashed potatoes, or any non-perishable food items that could be used in a Christmas dinner. Containers will be placed in various locations in the high school and the elementary school where the donations can be deposited.  Donations of food will also be accepted at the Elementary Holiday concert on Wednesday, December 17th and at the High School Holiday concert on Thursday, December 18th. Monetary donations will also be accepted at both events.   

 

🎬  Auditions for the Spring musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY will be held on Monday and Tuesday, December 8th & 9th. Students in grades 9-12 who wish to audition for the show should sign up for an audition time in Miss Welsh's room and pick up an audition form. This show has a relatively large, very funny cast with roles for males and females.  Come on out and join the fun!  

 

🌟  Attention National Honor Society members: Sign up lists for community service projects during the month of December are now on the counter in the High School office. 

 

🩸 The National Honor Society will be holding the annual Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, December 18th from 12 to 5 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Students who are 16 years old and older are eligible to be donors. Students who wish to be donors may sign up on December 10th and 11th in the cafeteria during B lunch period. All persons who participate in the drive as a donor will receive a $15 Amazon gift card. Donors may also register for the drive by visiting RedCrossBlood.org and use Williams Valley as the sponsor code.  

 

🏈  Members of the football team are reminded that the banquet will be held on Sunday in the cafeteria. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Team Members who have not met their fundraiser requirement may still hand in their balance of payment to the high school office or may drop it off at Mrs. Smith's house before December 7th to be eligible for their end of year gifts. Payments for guest tickets for the banquet may also be handed in to the high school office or dropped off at Mrs. Smith's house. 

 

⚽ Attention boys in grades 7 and 8:  If anyone is interested in playing in a Spring Soccer League please stop by Room 100 to sign the interest form. The schedule for the league will work around baseball.  

 

✈️ Attention students going on the France and Italy trip in 2027. Please turn in your Smuckers Garden fundraiser money and order forms to Mrs. Johnson by the end of the school day, on Friday, December 5th.

 

🤼 Members of the wrestling team are reminded that their fan gear and Costas candy orders are due today. Wrestlers should hand in their orders to the high school office to be placed in Mrs. Smith's mail tray.
